Wedding Wednesday – DIY Bridesmaid Boxes

Hi y’all! As most of you know I’m getting married next year! I’m so excited to share my wedding planning process and fun DIYs. I’m starting a new segment on my blog called “Wedding Wednesday” which is basically me talking about weddings every Wednesday. (Makes sense right?! Lol!) I recently popped the question to my bridesmaids and my maid of honor! I had the idea to make cute little bridesmaid boxes that would go well with our theme.

These “Will you be my Bridesmaid?” cards are so adorable! I Do! by April Heather Art has a huge selection. You can customize your cards to match the actual hair color of your bridesmaids and maid of honor. How awesome is that?! I wanted my bridesmaids to have matching tanks they could wear when we go shopping for my wedding dress or do other fun activities. This tank from RIDTHISIN is excellent quality and looks amazing on every body type. I got my girls a size bigger than what they would typically wear so it could have a loose fit. I also got one that says Bride. I thought it would be cute to clip together bridesmaid hair ties with the colors of our theme. For the colors I went to my local paint store and grabbed some cute swatches for free! I knew I wanted to give my bridesmaids wine because wine is my absolute favorite. I didn’t want to just give them a plain mini wine bottle though so I coated it in glitter. I bought the boxes, straws, and bows from Michael’s. The paper on the inside is from Paper Souce (my all time favorite store). I’ll link the other details below and include the DIY I used to make the glitter wine bottles. If you’re thinking about a fun way to pop the question to your bridesmaids I highly recommend doing bridesmaid boxes.
My bridesmaids loved it!

Pretty boxes and gift packing. Went for a bridal shower of my friend's sister last month. Happy to see the matching decorations done at one of the praiseworthy Los Angeles venues booked by her. Return gifts were packed with ribbons and glitters. Bride to be looked like a fairy in her designer gown. Wishing her a happy future.
