Tory Burch Riding Boots + The Perfect Fall Tunic

Happy Wednesday! Today on the blog I’m talking about riding boots and how perfect they are for fall! In particular I’m discussing Tory Burch riding boots. In this post I’m wearing the Derby Leather Riding Boot which is sold out but I’ve linked a TON of other riding boots at the bottom of this post so you’re sure to find a pair you love! One of the things I love about riding boots is it’s ability to transform a plain outfit! You can pair riding boots with fur vests, sweater dresses, chunky sweaters, cardigans, scarfs and the list goes on! I’m a huge fan of this brown leather color because it matches well with typical fall colors. If you do plan on purchasing Tory Burch riding boots I recommend trying them on before to make sure the fit is right. I ended up having to size down 1/2″. I love Lush’s roll tab sleeve tunics! These can be worn more casual or as work wear. Right now this tunic comes in a ton of colors and is only $27.90 during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I always stock up on a bunch of colors every year. I’m currently obsessing over the new olive color! What are some of you favorite fall trends? Let me know in the comments below!
Today marks an entire month since I’ve committed myself to blogging!! Time to pop the champagne! I mentioned on my twitter that I would discuss the good and the bad that I’ve experienced in my first real month of blogging. I’ll also be providing some tips for new bloggers since I’ve gotten a ton of emails asking for advice.
My first month of blogging has been an amazing experience! Within my first month I more than doubled my Instagram following, received over 2,000 more blog views than the month before, got accepted into the program (I did a whole post on here!), I’ve had a few collaboration offers, and have met tons of other bloggers. I’m so thankful to everyone that reads my blog and interacts with me on my social media! The only bad I’ve really experienced in my first month of blogging has been adjusting to the schedule of being a blogger. It’s certainly not as easy as it looks! My blog posts can take up to two hours to complete and pictures can take up to an hour for each look so there is a lot more than what you see that goes into blogging. I’m learning how to adjust and I’m excited to see where blogging takes me in the next few months!
I still categorize myself as a new blogger even though I started my blog two years ago so if you’re a new blogger like me here’s some advice on how to grow your blog!
  1. Be consistent! Basically post a certain amount of times a week and don’t miss a post. Your followers will keep growing if they see you have consistent content!
  2. Interact with followers. I can’t stress this enough! This has been one way I’ve grown my following! I try to respond to each comment and email I receive that same day. I’ve grown a ton of connections through interacting.
  3. BE YOURSELF!! It’s so important when blogging to be 100% yourself. Let people get to know who YOU are. Don’t pretend to be another blogger in order to gain a following.
That’s just a few tips I have for today. As always if you have any questions you can email me at
